Although this piano has been in my husbands
family for 30 years, is has not been used much at all. It
does need a tune up. The color of the piano is a

We have a 1957 Story & Clark grand piano
(6'11") for FREE. ***We will only give this piano to a
non-profit that can take care of having the piano moved and
can give us a receipt for tax deduction***
The piano is in completely playable condition except for
two notes that are out - these can be repaired
inexpensively. The finish is black, but the case has some
sun-damage and needs minor hinge repair as well.
This piano has a BIG sound and would be suitable for a
church, performance venue, or other such space. We love this
piano and hope to see it go to a good home. We are parting
with it because we have upgraded to another piano due to the
fact that my partner has moved his piano teaching to our
house.

Player mechanism works perfectly. Piano is in
overall good shape and plays well. The finish is overall,
rich and attractive although there are some spots where it
is worn, especially on the bench. Two black keys have broken
off and keys need cleaning (having been taped with letters
to help kids learn notes). The bench is sturdy. But, the top
is loose. |

I've had this piano since I was 6, I am 46
now. My mother was downsizing I took her home. I had hoped
that my children would like to learn the piano; but alas,
all my children play wind instruments and have no interest
in the piano. I am now downsizing and wish this piano a good
home. She has been wonderful, but she is need of tuning and
probably needs to be restrung. She is in good physical shape
but her bench needs a little repair...otherwise she's held
up good for her age I'd like to have her moved by 8/11/07 |

Will be re locating out of the country. this
piano has not been used in over 30 years. It has been in the
family at least 40 years. It is in need of restoration. It
has ebony and ivory keys On the frame there is stamped the
date: 1849. Not sure if this was the mfg. date or date the
company founded. Piano sits on wheels. The rubber on one
of the wheels is deteriorated. |
