Purchased new in 1959; single owner

No matching bench but swivel piano stool included.

This piano was purchased new in 1959 (have orginal documentation) and has only been moved twice (both times within D.C.). While it has not been tuned lately, it holds its tune very well. A few of the treble keys have slight nicks on their edges but it does not interfere with playing.

Piano is in a traditional row house with several stairs and landing, more stairs and another landing.

The piano is old and as such heavy. the recipient will need to have two to four men move this piece.

This piano was built in 1924 and appears to be a mahogany wood. It was well maintained by one person until the 1980's but then was not tuned again until 2006. As such it seems to need some work and possibly have some parts in need of replacement. As I do not have the time or resources to devote to this piano I would like for it to go to a good home or be used for parts for another piano.
