the piano is in good structural condition.
The piano was manufactured circa 1912 - 1917 and the finish
is showing it's age. As far as I know it's fully functional. |

I got the piano used only had it 1 1/2 for
the purpose of learning how to play and for practice. Well I
haven't used it but a couple of times. So I would like to
donate it. I have had it tuned once since in my possession.
It would be of value I think to someone. I do have a photo
but having problems loading it in Vista |

This beautiful piano was built by the famous
W.W. Kimball Piano Company of Chicago around 1915. Note the
beautifully carved leaves and acorns that adorn the front
panel! Oak Victorian pianos are less common than mahogany or
rosewood because the darker finishes were more popular at
the time. Since oak was a common domestic wood, it was not
considered to be exotic and was rarely used for piano
cabinets, making it rare and desirable today. This Kimball
piano may be refinished , but it's not necessary. With all
of the original ivories in tact, it is a beautiful striking
piece of furniture as well as a very satisfying musical
instrument. This Piano should be tuned as with ANY Piano
that is moved. I am not sure if the number I found on the
inside is the serial number or the model number. It is
unfortunate I no longer have space for it in my home.

the exterior
of piano is a beautiful light colored wood and it's in
excellent condition. However, the insides need work. Most of
the keys are "stuck" down. My mother is giving my her piano
and so I need to donate mine. |
