All of the keys work. The piano has casters on the bottom for easy rolling.  The piano needs tuning. The piano is located on the main floor of our house, no stairway.

Works fine, but needs to be tuned after relocation.  It is on the first floor but there are 5 stairs into the house from the outside.  There is a 6 x 6 area on the top of the piano that needs refinishing because a ceramic piece used to be on top of the piano.  No water damage to inside of piano.  Bench matches.  Ivory keys but some are chipped on the ends. 

This piano is available because my children are now grown, have moved out of the house and I am downsizing significantly.  The piano was a gift from their grandparents  when they were young (it was in our family since it was purchased several years ago).

 Needs to be out of the house by 08 March 2010 noon.  Thanks for giving this a good home!

Please help me find a new home for an 1890 Story and Clark upright piano with ornamental headboard and bench. It came from a bar in Chicago about 30 years ago and all keys were functioning well earler this year. I need to clear space in the house for my son to move-in and he prefers his smaller more portable keyboard.

The piano belonged to my parents who have recently deceased. Unfortunately no family members are capable of keeping the piano in the family. My parents house has recently sold and the piano needs to be removed. I would prefer it be given to someone who could enjoy it rather than sending it to be destroyed.

We received this piano for free, though it had been painted black with white paint thrown at it. My wife and I took off the black paint and she painted it white. Recently we were given another piano so are giving this one away. We had the other piano tuned and he looked at the Lester as well, he said it was a good piano. The leg was broken off, but he said we could fix it no problem. From what I have found it is from the early to mid 40's.

Piano is an older upright which was refinished at some points.  Has some minor dings/damage due to moving damge.  Has good sound, though may need tuning.  Getting rid of excess furniture (downsizing).
